ASL Independent review: AHDS Focus Group

ASL Independent review: AHDS Focus Group

Booking for this event is now closed.

Angela Morgan has been asked by John Swinney to lead the review on implementation of additional support for learning.  Further information about the review can be found at -

Angela is very pleased to have the opportunity to consider this important and challenging issue.  While the review will draw on existing evidence in this area, Angela recognises that to allow her to consider it fully, she must speak directly to those who are directly involved with the implementation and delivery of additional support for learning.  AHDS has arranged this two-hour focus group on 10 December to you as AHDS members to engage directly with Angela about her review, key issues that you would like to see addressed in the review and to reflect on issues that have emerged for her through other engagements.

In particular, she is keen to hear of examples - small or large - of where things do work well.  If things have been challenging, she is keen to know what has made the difference? Are there things that there should be more of or less of?  What is the best focus of our efforts for positive change?

Cost:            There is no cost for participation in this event (however, if a member has an outstanding event invoice this will need to be resolved before a place can be booked).

Booking:      Bookings must be made via the booking form on the AHDS website. Places are restricted and will be allocated on a first come – first served basis.

When:          10 December 2019, 2-4pm
