Schools and centres from around Scotland have been working with LTS to develop assessment exemplars as ‘early exemplification’.

On 20 April, LTS launched over 100 examples of these emerging approaches to assessment on the Curriculum for Excellence website.  The link below takes you to the home page.  The support materials that LTS has prepared to help you and your team to use the materials, for example on in-service days, can be found through the Review Reflect Respond link on the home page.

These materials are not being presented as ‘best practice’.  Rather, the decision has been made to share emerging practice with the profession.  The next stage will be for a national quality assurance process to consider the materials as initial content for the NAR (National Assessment Resource).
